Broadlands Naturist Club sits in twenty-five acres of woodland just a few miles south of Norwich. There are 106 permanent pitches that are used by members and plenty of space for tourers with ten amp electrics provided at an additional cost. There is also an additional charge for the use of the wi-fi.

The site is well equipped with two shower and lavatory blocks, a laundry room, a sauna, a heated swimming pool and miniten and boules courts. Every day at 1430, members and visitors gather at the boules court to play.

From here we visited Norwich, with its two cathedrals - one Roman Catholic and one Anglican - using the park and ride from Harford, about four miles from Broadlands.  We also visited Blickling Hall, a National Trust property about twelve miles north of Norwich.

There is a large Tesco not far from the Harford park and ride and a small Budgens and a One Stop about two miles away from the site.

Entry to the site is through an electric gate and visitors are provided with an access card.

There is a resident caretaker who lives with his family in a bungalow near the reception building, and is available in the reception building each day at specified times. He can often be seen driving about the site on his little buggy and is happy to be hailed to answer questions or offer assistance.

Broadlands is a very attractive site with many paths through the site and into the woodlands. However, it failed to make it into our star category as we didn't like the fact that the showers were at a fixed temperature and were operated by push valves that stayed open for only around twenty seconds.  Sometimes we wanted a warmer or cooler shower and on hot days it is always nice to finish with a cold shower.

Also it was the most expensive site - naturist or textile - that we had ever stayed at.
